Northumberland County Archives and Museum is located on the traditional and treaty territory of the Michi Saagiig Anishinaabeg — the original stewards of these lands and waters. Today, this region remains home to the Mississauga and Chippewa Nations, collectively known as the Williams Treaties First Nations. We honour their enduring connection to this land and their legacy of care and responsibility.
